Bert woke up this morning with a bad ear inflammation. This means that today’s mission was to find a doctor and medication. But now when we are in the EU region it is an easy task. All we needed was the EU card and ID card and visit the hospital 5 km away.

In less than an hour Bert had seen the doctor and got a recipe of antibiotics and eardrops. The doctor’s visit, the recipe and the medication was only 4 Euro in total!

In the evening there came in lights, thunder, really strong winds and rain. One of the boats in the bay came loose and were drifting up on the beach all filled with water. The guests at the campsite came to a rescue to save it from braking.

A day at the beach, or rather several days at the beach. When traveling like this you actually need a vacation from traveling at the end. Normally all the time and efforts goes in to experiencing stuff and inventing everyday life over and over again – every single day. Now we are staying put to enjoy the sun, beach and resting with every day completely free of experiences and problem solving.

Catharina does not want to leave Croatia. Tomorrow we go north.

After a last refreshing morning swim, we packed our stuff, left Croatia and headed north. We are now travelling in a fast pace towards home and our two beutiful cats. This turned out to be a very long day in the car. We covered 900 kilometers and crossed Slovakia, Austria and Czech Republic before entering Poland were we stopped to sleep at a truck stop. And it was also a very expensive day too. We had to pay 54 Euro in total for the toll roads.
